These awards are presented to team officials as recognition for their meritorious service to Metropolitan North School Sport (MNSS). They are awarded in the following categories:

  • ​Bronze for 5 years
  • Silver for 10 years
  • Gold for 15 years
  • Mark Tibbles Shield for 20 years
  • Platinum for 25 years​

Life membership

Life membership to Metropolitan North School Sport may be conferred on any person who meets the following criteria:
  • A minimum of ten years’ exemplary service and development of school sport at the regional level. Service includes:
    • Membership of the Metropolitan North School Sport Board; and/or
    • Membership of the Metropolitan North School Sport Management Committee; and/or
    • Being a Regional Team Official/Regional Convenor/State Convenor/Sport-Specific Committee MN Delegate
  • Has demonstrated respected leadership of colleagues within the service of Metropolitan North School Sport
  • Has made a significant contribution to school sport within the region.
  • No more than two Life Memberships are presented in one year.
Nomination for life membership is to be lodged on the appropriate form with the RSSO, prior to the October meeting of the Met North School Sport Board. The nomination should include supporting evidence demonstrating how the nominee has met the above criteria. Life Membership will be conferred by a majority vote of eligible voting members at the October ​meeting of the Met North School Sport Board.
Presentation: Awarding of life membership will be made at the annual Met North School Sport awards function.
