Who do I contact for information and forms?

Your school sport co-ordinator is your first point of contact for information and forms to attend a district and regional selection trial.

10-12 Years Boys & Girls POSTPONED new date

Please carefully read the below information

Trial date & time	POSTPONED Date to be advised NEW Wednesday, 13 May 2026, 8:00am Wednesday 20 May 2026, 8:00am Wednesday 3 June 2026. 8:00am
Trial venue	Coops Tennis Centre
Team Officials	7:30am
Students check in	7:45am
Eligibility	Students must meet all of the following: • be born in 2014,2015 or 2016 in 2026 • be selected in a district team to compete at the regional trial
Trial format	Morning session will be held as a round robin competition. The draw will be available on display at the Regional Selection Trial venue and will conclude approximately 12:30. Top 8 Boys and Girls will be invited to proceed to finals. Student who are unsuccessful are welcome to depart at this time. Team announced on completion of finals. Students who have the ability and skill to participate at this level or higher should nominate. Any student deemed unsuitable or dangerous for them to participate will be immediately removed from the trial process.
District Nomination - Submitted to regional SharePoint	Monday 5:00pm, 4 May 2026 Students must be nominated by their school and attend a district trial selection process Districts can select a maximum of four(4) male & female players
Trial fee	$ 25.00 trial fee is paid via MN RSS Shop The RSS Shop is currently experiencing a statewide outage. As a result, payments are temporarily on hold until the issue is resolved. Updates and further communication will be provided via MN Facebook and your districts.
Absentee application for exemption	Applications must be received prior to the commencement of the regional selection trial. Metropolitan North School Sport reserves the right to refuse any late applications. For more information, please see ‘Related links’
Wet weather	Information will be available via our Facebook site on the morning of the selection trial.

QRSS student officials	Queensland School Sport actively promotes the development of students as sport officials through the QRSS student officials’ program. Students involved in the pathway are managed by an appointed Student Officials Manager. For more information, please see 'Related links'

13-19 Years Boys & Girls

Trial date & time	Thursday, 8 October 2026 8:00am – 3:00pm
Trial venue	Shaw Park Tennis Center , 9 Boree St, Brisbane QLD
Nominations due	Monday, 28 September 12:00pm
Team Officials meeting	7:30am
District Nomination	Students must be nominated by their school and attend a district trial selection process Players should only nominate if attained: (1) Tournament standard with a UTR
Eligibility	Students must meet all of the following eligibility requirements: • Be born in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 or 2014 for the 2026 representative year. • Be selected in a district team to compete at the regional trial. Please note: Selection for the regional trial is at the discretion of Met North, based on a combination of individual results, UTR rankings, and selection criteria relevant to the sport. Only students who are endorsed by their district and meet the required standards will be considered. All successful applicants at the district level will receive an official invitation to attend the regional trial.
Trial format	Double elimination tournament. One set with tie-break at 6 games all (tie-break to 7 with a lead of 2)
Trial fee	$ 25.00 trial fee is paid via MN RSS Shop
