Regional trial levy payment process (new)
All students attending a regional selection trial will be required to pay the trial levy via our
Metropolitan North Regional School Sport (RSS) Shop.

Student Permission/Consent forms
Students must have present, the following forms completed and signed to attend every regional selection trial. Forms are only available once selected in the District team.
- Regional trial permission/consent form
- Mouthguard letter
- only applicable to Australian football, European handball, hockey, rugby league, rugby union and water polo
- Queensland School Sport consent
Students will not be permitted to trial without the appropriate school and parent/guardian consent.
Absentee Application for Exemption to trial form

email the MNSS office if you wish to submit an application.
As of 2/10/23 our online form is no longer available.
Applications must be received prior to the commencement of the regional selection trial. Metropolitan North School Sport reserves the right to refuse any late applications.
To be eligible, students are required to attend and participate in the regional trial except under the following circumstances:
- Medical condition on the day/s of competition
- Absence due to competing at a higher level event in the same sport and same discipline
- Absence due to competing with another Queensland School Sport (state team) or School Sport Australia (national team) in a different sport
- Bereavement or compassionate reasons
- COVID-19
