General Information

Nomination Process – Parents and Schools

 School Level

  • Students who wish to participate must first nominate through their school's Sports Coordinator or HPE Teacher.
  • Schools will communicate the sports available, nomination dates, and eligibility requirements to families.
  • Schools are responsible for the selection of high skilled level students and submission of nominations to their District by the advertised due date.

 All permission and consent forms must be completed digitally and submitted to relevant district officials.

​Nominations outside of this process will not be accepted.

Student Officials
Queensland Representative School Sport (QRSS) offers students in Queensland an opportunity to participate in all facets of the representative school sport pathway and actively promotes the development of students in all areas of sport.

Student official opportunities include:
  • referee/umpire roles
  • Student Advisory Committee membership.
Absentee application for an exemption

​If you are unable to attend a trial and wish to be considered for selection, speak to your school Sports Coordinator about submitting an 'Absentee application for exemption to trial'.
  • To obtain this form,please ​email ​Rebecca Wilkinson (SSSA)​
  • Applications close prior to the commencement of the trial
  • Each application is decided individually. Acceptance of this application is not automatic and if accepted only entitles a child to be CONSIDERED for selection
  • Pine Dis​trict School Sport reserves the right to refuse late applications.​
